It's all about the master and blaster Nepali team to ooze out its hidden potentials in the ground of cricket field. Now it’s the time to exaggerate its mental, physical and emotional aptitude. The team needs to rectify the previous miss steps and amplify it's outstanding performance in the field and recognize it as a majestic personality. Wake up and Stand up, “Your attitude determines your altitude”.

Nepal is facing incessant obstacle in their progress with either three runs lose against Fiji in Division 2 or defeat from Afghanistan at the ICC World Cricket League Division 5 in 2008. Where, Nepal won five matches and lose only one against Afghan and that caused them to stay in same division. Nevertheless, Nepali team's moral was boosted highly with 10 wicket haul of Mehboob Alam against Mozambique and good batting by batsmen as well. They looked very comfortable till the match against Afghanistan and that defeat cost them promotion to upper division and theWorld Cup became dearer as well.

All the things have changed now and the circumstances are in the favor of Nepal. In view of the fact that Nepal is playing on homeland and the team is very confident too. Combination of youths, experienced and seniors make a good set up. They are very anxious to play the World Cup and should be possessive and determined. Moreover, Huge Nepali crowds will cheer the game and all the support from crowd is another plus point.

Nepal, United State of America (USA), Fiji, Jersey along with other two teams, which will be promoted from Division-6, will feature in this competition. Considering the fact that promotion in this division can drag Nepal an inch close to the World Cup dream, thus we can say we have to everything that we can.

In addition, this is a precious opportunity to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) for proving itself and showing it's ability to organize the ICC's tournament in this Lord Buddha's country. This is the first time that Nepal is going to organize the ICC's event after completing the entire ACC level tournament quiet successfully.

It is a matter of proud to acknowledge in front of such a great organization like ICC that Nepal is capable to host any event in the peaceful nation. But it is not just an opportunity it is a challenge too. Let see CAN’s strategy toward this task.

The coach Roy Luke Dias is confident that Nepali team will benefit from this event. As a host nation, Nepal can demonstrate great environment that suits for cricket to the international arena. He said, 'This is a golden opportunity to stand as a great cricket destination'.

Nepal will face lots of familiar team like USA, Fiji, and Jersey. Nepal already defeated USA in last year's division-5 league and Jersey not known as a strong team in International Cricket. Fiji is the headache for the team and Nepal will definitely take revenge of the defeat at World Cup Qualifier and Division 2 tournament, which was held on 2005. Yet, Nepal needs to be very careful especially against these three teams. Recently, USA won the ICC Americas Cup ahead of Bermuda and Canada and they are re-structuring their cricket team and also planning to organize American Cricket League (ACL). However, if Nepal be able to perform with their actual knack, there is a certain success chance. Simply they should be, “able to make hey when the sunshine”.

Until now, it looks like very difficult to reach the World Cup 2015 through this long way but this is cricket and there is a saying, "everything can happen in cricket".

Nepal have to learn from Afghanistan, how they reached division 2 and got ODI status through this journey. If we look at the success story, then we can say, it's possible to make the World Cup, but this will not come easily so we have to prepare for this campaign on or after at this moment.

Nepal has always been strong in bowling but the major problem remains in batting. If they really want to improve batting, they should come up with a solid domestic cricket structure. Not just one 50 over league but Twenty20 and 2 days league should also be revived. It will provide players a great platform to prove and shine their ability. Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) team manager Team Lerwill said that,'You don’t need to go out and play with other teams for batting upgrading, the domestic cricket is the main platform to correct your skills'. A large amount domestic cricket means lots of matches which also can help Nepali cricketers to maintain their fitness. Former Pakistani International and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Academy coach Ijaz Ahmed also mentioned that Nepali players lack fitness.

This is a solitary way to achieve the World Cup 2015 spot. It's hard to have this type of strong situation for Nepal in near future. Current players in Nepali squad will not be part for the next world cricket league.

There is no option left other than winning the division-5 tournament and follow with division 4, division 3 and 2 also. It is achievable, if they play with their ability. The team have to 'inoculate the syringe of enthusiasm in their blood stream'. All about the matter to be concerned is the integrative and co-operative approach among the team members. Never forget this line “it’s gettable”.
