Just Nepali Cricket/January 15
Opener Subash Khakurel and skipper Paras Khadka expected to miss tomorrow's match against Scotland in Queenstown Events Centre, New Zealand. Information from New Zealand to Just Nepali Cricket reveals that Subash's health condition became worse further and the Coach Pubudu Dassanayake do not wants him play in this circumstance, he has been suffering from high fever.
Earlier coach told to Just Nepali Cricket that Subash would play in second match, as he has been regular opener for long period. However, he is not match fit thus the coach finally decided to allow him for rest by not picking him.
Likewise, Paras may also not play tomorrow, as he is yet to convalesce fully from back strain injury that he carried at practice match against Canterbury Selection XI. However, coach will wait until tomorrow for final resolution about Paras. Coach said the final XI depends upon Paras's condition,' We will look until tomorrow morning for his health. However, other players are capable to fill up the batting place but team will miss his experience and leadership, if he couldn't recover'.
Prithu have higher chance to play the match in place of Subash. If coach does so, Binod Bhandari or Gyanendra Malla to play as a wicket keeper. Just Nepali Cricket understands that Pradeep Airee also contain possibility to play the match if Paras not able to take part in the match.
