10 matches to play in NCA-GCA series

Global Cricket Academy team arrived Nepal to take part in five U-13level matches and five U-18 level matches with National Cricket Academy (NCA) of Nepal at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground from April 5 to 10.

The series named ‘NCA-GCA Friendship Series’ and organizers believes that series will offer great amount of exposure to both the teams. It was announced today in a program held at Hotel National Vision.  President, Vice Presidents, Secretary and other members of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), members of NCA, and representative of Chaudhary Group Mr. Lal Babu Prasad present in the program.

Mudassar Nazar, Head coach of ICC Global Cricket Academy (GCA) said he is glad to be here in Nepal. He added, 'We are looking forward to invite NCA team to UAE in near future'. Just Nepali Cricket made public the information about Global Cricket Academy team's Nepal visit 4 days ago.

Hope, Nepal and GCA can build good relations that encourage future series not only between youth cricketers, but senior teams as well. Mudassar Nazar said that "The tour will pave the way for further development of our ICC Warriors and be equally important for Nepal's young cricketers too... We will be helping to expose their next generations of players to competition from outside the country and at the same time testing our promising youngsters in conditions they may not have experienced before"

Tomorrow, NCA U-13 team will face GCA U-13 at first match in TU cricket ground on 9:00 AM and NCA U-18 will face GCA U-18 in same venue on 1:00 PM.
