CAN addresses few demands of cricketers

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) today addressed some points raised by the players that revealed at press meet today.

CAN members informed that the meeting decided to tackle the genuine demands from players. CAN's representative said that they will provide $5000 for treatment of cricketer Prithu Banskota. Likewise, CAN formed dialogue team under vice president Chatur Bahadur Chand that includes Thakur Pratap Thapa and Deepak Saud. The committee makes a decision to call players at talk very soon.   

Moreover, CAN will give player's 6 months' salary within one week that has been pending for long time. CAN also formed a disciplinary committee under the leadership of Uttam Karmacharya. Diwakar Ghalre, Thakur Pahadi, Kiran Rana and Sandeep Pandey are other members of the committee.

CAN informed journalists that they came to a decision to support CIAA for the investigation. CIAA already started queries about financial performance of association. Furthermore, the association clarified that they never promised to provide $50000 for players from ICC's funding and they are organizing national cricket league as per their commitment to sponsors and it was not only for the ACC Premier League, it will be useful for the entire year.

Nepali cricket's governing body hold a meeting after 16 members Nepali World Twenty20 Cup squad opted not to take part in the national league and International tournaments until the current Executive Committee of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) got dissolved.
