Cricketer agrees to take out protest

         Nepali cricketers finally decided to pull out their protest program after 2 days of talk between the players, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Nepal Sports Council (NSC) and Youth and Sports Ministry, as all they are agreed to form a five members 'Planning and Monitoring Committee'.

According to NSC member secretary Yuvraj Lama, he will lead the committee as coordinator whereas one First Class Level officer of Youth and Sports Ministry, one representative of CAN, Skipper Paras Khadka and the coach Pubudu Dassananaye are other members. The committee will work to ensure the implementation of cricketing plans.

At press meet after the talks, Yuvraj Lama said that the outcome is very good for cricket though it was late. CAN General Secretary Ashok Nath Pyakurel accepted that CAN's fault while working and they will work on their weaknesses. He informed that 10 point demands of cricketers will be fulfilled very soon.

Moreover, Skipper Paras Khadka said, 'We came to know that no power even Prime Minister can't liquefy CAN due to the rules so we have no option left other than leaving our demand of CAN's dissolve. Although, from now on, we will work as per direction of the Planning and Monitoring Committee and our every demands will be addressed through the committee'. Pyakurel said players will play cricket soon and he also informed that the deadline of squad's name submission for the ACC Premier League has been extended after CAN's request by ACC.
