NPL pushes back for indefinite period

Just Nepali Cricket/June 4

Nepal Premier League (NPL) Twenty20 tournament has been postponed for indistinct period as organizer Zohra Sports Management (ZSM) issued a press release to confirm the news.

Earlier, the tournament has been scheduled to start at June 3 however ZSM postponed it for June 7 conversely the reason for the deferment is same as they said before, i.e. the team's preparation, promotions and acquiring overseas cricketers for the short version of cricket tournament. They added one more explanation of ground staff protest in the TU cricket ground for rescheduling.

Just Nepali Cricket understands that ZSM and CAN are not having good time as CAN's fraction led by Ashok Nath Pyakurel are discontented with Aamir Akhtar's event management company as they overlooked others by taking lone support of CAN's president Tanka Angbuhang.

Hope these divergences will be sorted out very soon.
