Cricket, growing sports with craze in Nepal got a new club with high intend to develop cricket. Formation of ‘South West Cricket Club’ being revealed at press meets in Kathmandu on November 12.
To develop cricket from grass root in South and West Part of Kathmandu, the club mean to introduce cricket in 20-30 private and government schools. At begin practice net in 3-4 school, club aims to increase this with time passes. Likewise club aspire to appoint coaches at school levels and will conduct the regular School Level, College Level and Club level tournament in future, said at press meet.
Normally, In Nepal cricket clubs not playing proper matches and Cricket Board also lack of Club cricket. In this situation commitment by newly established 'South West Cricket Club' came up with big plans. Just we have to wait and watch of this club's behavior and contribution toward Nepali cricket. Nepali sports lovers will warmly welcome cricket club which intended to generate cricketer for high level.
