Promising all rounder of Nepali cricket team Sagar Pun got three bats along with a cricket shoe worth NPR one lakh from a Nepali lives in England named Manoj Gurung. Three bats are of Gray-Nicolls, New Berry and On-Hands Company.
A journalist Manoranjan Sharma informed JNC that he intended to give him bats immediately after the World T20 Cup, where Sagar impressed him very much and became fan of him however he decided to take bat by himself as he is in Nepal to celebrate Dashain festival with family. Sagar Pun and Manoj Gurung both belong to Bhairahawa.
Sagar said to JNC that he is very happy to get new bats and will use it for future tournaments i.e. Asian Games and ICC World Cricket League Division III.
