Nepal defeated Kuwait in bowl out by the margin of 3-2, after the score was tie, in the second match of the ACC Twenty20 Cup 2009 in Abu Dhabi. At second inning Nepal also scored 123 runs as Binod Bhandari of Nepal smacked a six in last ball of the inning. Nepal defeated Kuwait in bowl out and keep the hope alive to qualify for the semi-final.
Kuwait scored 123 all out in 19.1 overs after winning the toss. Part time bowler Dipendra Chaudhary took 4-11 in just 3 overs. Basanta Regmi took 2 and Sanjam Regmi, Mehboob Alam and Binod Das took one wicket each.
Other matches, Oman won the match by 5 wickets against Qatar. Qatar score 178-8 in 20 overs and Oman overcame the target in 18.3 overs for just sacrificing 5 wickets.
Afghanistan defeated Singapore by 8 wickets. Singapore scored 96 runs in 20 overs and Afghanistan quickly achieves their target in 12.4 overs.
UAE defeated Hong Kong by 27 runs. UAE scored 137-9 runs in their 20 overs and Hong Kong team not able to complete their target and scored 110-9 in full 20 overs.
China lost to Saudi Arabia. Saudi score 155-7 in 20 overs and China only gather 100-7 in alloted 20 overs in target chasing process.
Malaysia won by huge margin of 92 runs against Bahrain. Malaysia scored 218-5 in 20 overs and Bahrain only scored 126 runs in 20 overs.
