Afghanistan scored respectable 224 in their allotted 50 overs with help of 58 by opener Karim Sadiq. The major boost of their total was 97-run stand between Raees Ahmadzai and Mohabbad Nabi for the seventh wicket. Raees scored 52 and Nabi scored 48 runs. Mirwais Ashraf and Nowroz Mangal scored 24 and 14 runs respectively. Binod Das was peak of Nepali bowler with 3-35. Paras Khadka and Rahul BK shared 2 wickes each and Basanta Regmi claim 1 wicket.
In reply, Nepal never seems comfortable against both pace and spin bowling of Afghanistan. Sharad Vesawkar and Gyanendra Malla shows some fight with 35 and 30 runs respectively, but never troubled the Afghanistan. Skipper Paras Khadka (11) and Sanjam Regmi (10) was other double figure achiever. Nepal threw all the wickets in 129 runs in 40 overs. Nowroz Mangal and Mirwais Ashraf shared 2 wickets each for Afghan. Shahpoor Zadran, Mohammad Nabi, Samiullah Shinwari and Hamid Hassan shared 1 wicket apiece.
Raees Ahmadzai declared Man of the Final for his key contribution through his bat in the ultimate.
