Nepal Army (NA) Club beat British Infantry Cricket Club by 8 wickets in a friendly match organized by both teams here at Pulchowk Engineering Cricket Ground today.
Nepal Army (NA) team won the toss and elected to field first.Batting first,British Army team got all out for 102 run in 19.2 overs .Fred Moywan, Jim Coding and Gedian Charles scored 16,15 and 14 runs respectively for British Army team.Restricting them to 102,Rahul BK took a couple of wickets spending 18 runs while Naresh Budhayer, Rajesh Pulami, Chandra Saud and Anil Mandal shared one wicket each.Four batsmen were run out.
In the 2nd inning,Naresh Budaier and Mahesh Chhetri scored 42 and 36 runs not out which paved the way to chase the total easily in 12.4 overs.Chasing the target ,Nepal Army (NA) scored 103/2 in 12.4 overs with the help of 11 fours and 2 sixes. Jim Coding took a wicket for British Army team.
