Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) selected 14 members squad for ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier schedule to 28 July to August 9, held at Ireland.Prithu Banskota retained his captaincy, under his captaincy Nepal selected for this global qualifier after being runner up at ACC U-19 Elite Cup held in Thailand. Other players are Sagar Pun, Bhuwan Karki, Naresh Budhayer, Faizrul Rehman Khan, Subhash Khakurel, Rahul Biswokarma, Avinash Karna, Krishna Karki, Pradep Airee, Suvendu Pandey, , Nischal Pandey, Rupesh Shrivastav and Rajesh Pulami.Four players Amit Dahal, Amrit Shrestha, Amit Shrestha, Jitendra Mukhiya were named as reserve. Jagat Tamata also retained as coach and CAN member Chhatra Prasad Adhikari appointed Manager of team. 10 teams will participate in the Qualifiers with top six making it to the 2012 World Cup. Apart from Nepal, Namibia, Kenya, Scotland, Ireland, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, USA and Canada are the other teams in the Qualifiers.
