Bandari and Malla bats Nepal to triumph

Nepal recorded fourth victory at the friendly match during the India visit as part of the preparation for upcoming ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier 2013, to be held at UAE.
Nepal administered 137 runs in alloted 20 overs losing nine wickets. Nepali total was boosted with brave inning by Binod Bhandari and vice captain Gyanendra Malla as batsmen duo made 62 runs partnership in just 8.1 overs when team lost the major scorer and skipper Paras Khadka for five runs. Binod top scored 42 runs in mere 35 balls. Gyanendra fluently made 31 runs in 34 balls. Number eight batsman Pradeep Airee played little cameo to make 11 runs in five balls. Sagar Pun, Subash Khakurel and Basanta Regmi made 15, 13 and 12 runs respectively. For Railway, Hitesh Kadam and Karan Thakur both took three wickets each. Shamshul Huda took two wickets.
In reply, Railway fail to make any impression at begin, when they lost three wickets in
24 runs. However Hemant Singh continue to play his own shots to score run fluently despite other batsmen fail to stand against quality Nepali bowling. His lone performance took the game until the last over and this time again Amrit Bhattarai, who bowled the last over, restricted opposition below the target and Nepal won the match by five runs. Apart from Hemant, Pankaj Chaudhary scored 25 runs. Other players fail to contribute significantly. Amrit and Shakti Guachan of Nepali team took two wickets. Jitendra Mukhiya and Paras Khadka shared one wicket apiece.

Nepal will play next match on October 28 taking a day rest against Invitational XI where Gautam Gambhir of India has high probability to lead the mixed team.
