Death over costs Nepal a match

Amrit Bhattarai and Jitendra Mukhiya bowled 18th and 19th over and gave away 27 runs, that skidded the contest away from Nepal and USA recorded a big win over Nepal at the second official warm-up match in Sheikh Zayed Stadium Nursery 2, Abu Dhabi.
Nepal ended 129 runs losing seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs where vice captain Gyanendra Malla top scored for Nepal with 32 runs. Skipper Paras Khadka, who scored 85 not out against UAE, failed to contribute significant runs for the team and got out on mere six runs. Nonetheless, Number 6 batsmen Sharad Vesawkar scored 26 runs in just 19 balls with two fours and a six. Binod Bhandari made 22 runs

and Anil Mandal made nine runs in three balls. Mandal did hit the six at fourth ball of 20th over and took three more runs in following two balls. Other batsmen failed to score and Nepali total looked 10 runs short at the end of the match. Muhammad Ghous of USA took two wickets and he got support from Elmore Hutchinson, Adam Sanford and Timroy Allen by taking a wicket each.
USA made quick runs while chasing as they attacked Amrit Bhattarai and Sagar Pun at their first and second over respectively. However, Amrit removed danger man Steven Taylor in third over and Sagar sent Akeem Dodson to pavilion in last ball of fourth over though they already completed 39 runs in that time. Sagar added another wicket in his bowling figure by making out Orlando Baker. Nevertheless, USA taking runs and keeping patient, as they know the right time to accelerate the inning and they did it at 18th and 19th over. Hutchinson made 33 runs whereas Allen made 32. Taylor and Dodson contributed 20 and 19 runs respectively. Apart from Sagar, Amrit, Jitendra and Shakti Gauchan took a wicket each.
Nepal will face Denmark on November 15 at first match of the ICC World T20 Qualifier 2013 at ICC Academy Ground No 2, Dubai at 11:45 NST.
