Apart from Patel, Morris Ouma made 37 runs for Kenya. Tikolo made 11 and Shem Ngoche made 10 not out.

They shared 77 runs partnership before Gyanendra was stump out off Viren Hariya's bowling. Paras came at number four and played slowly at begin and accelerated inning later. Subash was out on 16th over and Binod unable to finish the match, as he was bowl out by Odhiambo in 19th over. Sharad came at penultimate ball of 19th over and scored two and one runs in remaining ball. Nepal need 17 runs in last over where Paras and Sharad were looking to finish the game.
At last over bowled by Ragheb Aga, Sharad hit sixes in first and second ball and took two in third ball to brought required run down to three runs in three balls.
Sharad hit another six in the fourth ball to finish the game in style and celebrated with big roar at ground. Nepali players ran over the ground from dressing room to celebrate their big victory.
Coach Pubudu was most happy man with the win and he said, "We always said we are strong team and can beat any associate team, that we proved today this in front of the world".
