Sompal breaks into senior team, Prithu returns

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) declared the final 15 players and 4 reserve players for the upcoming ICC World Cricket World Cup 2015 Qualifier tournament to be held from January 13 to February 1 in New Zealand. 
Medium pacer Som Pal Kami, who has been selected for ACC U-19 Asia Cup, found a place at the national team and Prithu Bankota, who suffered ligament tear injury before the ICC World Twenty20 Cup Qualifier, returned to the team. Yesterday, Just Nepali Cricket revealed the probability of Som Pal and Prithu's chance at the team. However, veteran leg spinner Raj Kumar Pradhan was not included in the team despite the coach wants a leg spinner for the big tournament. 

Paras Khadka retained his captaincy and Gyanendra Malla remained his deputy. Other players are, Sharad Vesawkar, Sompal Kami, Mahesh Chhetri, Subash Khakurel,Shakti Gauchan, Basant Regmi,  Pradeep Airee, Anil Mandal, Sagar Pun, Jitendra Mukhiya, Avinash Karna, Prithu Baskota and Binod Bhandari.
Likewise, Naresh Budhayer, Ram Naresh Giri, Amrit Bhattarai and Rahul BK selected as reserved players. Just Nepali Cricket also disclosed that the team will go Sri Lanka for four practice matches and New Zealand for another four unofficial practices matches before play the two official matches against Namibia and Kenya.
