Cricketers to get cash prize

Nepali cricketers, who helped Nepal to reach the first ever-global tournament, will get the cash from government, CAN and private sectors.

Today, Cabinet decided to approve the recommendation made by Nepal Sports Council (NSC) to rewards players with one million each. Youth and Sports Minister Ram Kumar Shrestha said that this success was the huge and government will honor the players with a million rupees each. He also indicated about facility increment for the players. However, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) also declared the cash prize of one lakh each for the players and their allowance will be doubled which was Rs 5000 earlier. Likewise, Just Nepali cricket got the information that ICFC, a financial company decided to reward player with Rs 10000 each from their side.

Moreover, Players will get Rs 15000 per month for 2 years from different eight private organizations that assured to provide them that amount before the tournament. Vaidhya's organization will give a Toyota Car to the best performer from Nepal.
