Nepal will contest against Malaysia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Baharain in Group B matches of the 2nd ACC Twenty20 Cup Elite Cricket in November at United Arab Emirates (UAE). In Group A, Afghanistan, China, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, UAE and Hong Kong will play with each other and top two team will advance for the semi final. Oman was the joint winner with Afghanistan in last year's inaugural edition.
The game was originally scheduled for November 4-13 but the ACC meeting 28 August pushed back the dates to 22-30 November. Nepal hope for better performance to erase last year's bitter experience where Nepal lost with Qatar and Afghanistan and fail to qualify for next round despite beating Malaysia and joint winner Oman in group round match in Kuwait.
